# Billing Portal

## Request

Return a Stripe Customer Portal URL for the currently-signed-in subscriber.

Auth is via the edge_tier cookie. Admins and free users get 400 — admin has
no subscription to manage, free has no portal identity. Paying customers
get a 302 straight to Stripe's hosted portal where they can cancel,
update their card, or swap plans. Stripe bounces them back to /scanner/.
