# Ongoing Chats

`GET /api/v1/ongoing-chats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Return the user's ongoing (draft) chats, grouped by category.

A chat is included here when its latest report is in ``draft`` status,
or when no report has been generated yet. Because draft reports do not
yet have a ``domain_name`` in the DB, every entry currently lands under
the ``standard`` key. Additional category keys will start appearing on
this response once drafts begin carrying a domain.

Within each group, chats are ordered by ``updated_at`` descending
(most-recent first).

Authentication Required: Yes (JWT token)

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- OngoingChatsResponse: Response for GET /ongoing-chats. Draft reports do not yet have a ``domain_name`` in the DB, so all drafts are returned under the ``standard`` key. As soon as drafts start carrying a domain, additional category keys will appear here alongside ``standard``.
  - `success` boolean
  - `standard` OngoingChatItem[]: Draft chats for the default/standard category
    - `chat_id` string, required: Chat identifier
    - `chat_title` string, nullable: Chat title
    - `status` string, required: Report status; 'draft' for all entries here
    - `poster_image_url` string, nullable: Poster/thumbnail CDN URL
    - `created_at` string, nullable: Chat created_at, ISO-8601
    - `updated_at` string, nullable: Chat updated_at, ISO-8601
    - `session_id` string, nullable: Active chat session id (if any)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Internal Server Error
