# Get Dashboard Stats Endpoint

`GET /api/v1/dashboard-stats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai/api/v1/dashboard-stats`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `token`

Get dashboard statistics for the current user.

Returns counts of reports/chats in different states:
- **drafts**: Number of draft chats (chats that exist in messages table but NOT in reports table)
- **analysis_completed**: Number of reports with analysis completed status
- **output_generated**: Number of reports with output generated status
- **updated**: Number of updated reports (TODO: implement when update functionality is enabled)

Authentication Required: Yes (JWT token)

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DashboardStatsResponse: Response schema for dashboard statistics
  - `total_draft` integer, required: Number of draft chats (chats in messages table but not in reports table)
  - `analysis_completed` integer, required: Number of reports with analysis completed
  - `output_generated` integer, required: Number of reports with output generated
  - `updated` integer: Number of updated reports (TODO: implement when update functionality is enabled)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Internal Server Error
