# Chat List

`GET /api/v1/chat-list`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Get user chats endpoint with optional status filtering and search

Query Parameters:
- status: Optional comma-separated list of status values to filter by
- search: Optional search term to filter chat titles (case-insensitive)
- is_mcp: Optional boolean to filter by MCP origin (true/false)

Examples:
- /chat-list (returns all chats)
- /chat-list?status=draft (returns only draft chats)
- /chat-list?search=AI (returns chats with "AI" in title)
- /chat-list?is_mcp=true (returns only MCP-originated chats)
- /chat-list?search=wealth&status=draft,analysis-completed (returns chats matching both filters)

Valid status values:
- draft
- awaiting-confirmation
- analysis-in-progress
- analysis-completed
- generating-output
- output-generated
- updates-available
- redo-analysis
- error-generation-report

## Query parameters

- `status` string, nullable: Comma-separated status values to filter by (e.g., 'draft,analysis-completed')
- `search` string, nullable: Search term to filter chat titles (case-insensitive substring match)
- `is_mcp` boolean, nullable: Filter by MCP origin: true for MCP-only, false for non-MCP-only, omit for all

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- UserChatsResponse
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `chats` object[], nullable, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `500`: Internal Server Error
