# Get Ask Caspr chat history for a section or subsection

`GET /api/v1/ask-caspr/chat-history`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://backend.caspr.ai/api/v1/ask-caspr/chat-history`
- Auth: OAuth 2

Retrieve the Ask Caspr chat conversation for a specific section or subsection. If report_version_id is omitted, returns the latest chat (current version). If report_version_id is provided, returns the chat that was valid at that report version by matching against card_version.

## Query parameters

- `report_id` string, required: ID of the report
- `section_id` string, required: Business card_id (section identifier)
- `subsection_id` string, nullable: Subsection ID. Omit for section-level chat.
- `report_version_id` string, nullable: ReportVersion ID. Omit to get the latest chat.
