# Autocomplete Suggestions

Return distinct name suggestions for party or judge search filters.

Party suggestions are individual parties, not raw column values. The column
holds one string per case with every party on that side joined by "; ", so
suggesting it verbatim offered whole captions — "(1) LONDON BOROUGH OF
ISLINGTON; (2) ... ; (7) LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH; ..." as a single option,
which selects essentially one case. Splitting them apart is what makes the
multi-value party filter usable: searching "lambeth" returns each competing
spelling of the council as its own tickable row.
