# Search Citations

`GET /authorities/{authority_id}/citation-search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.casenode.ai`
- URL: `https://api.casenode.ai/authorities/{authority_id}/citation-search`
- Auth: none declared

Find citing authorities by what their citing paragraph says.

Searches **only** the paragraph that does the citing — not the rest of that
judgment, and not the case name. On an authority cited four figures of times
this is the difference between having the list and being able to use it.

Matching is stemmed, so "prejudice" also finds "prejudiced". Each result
carries the matching passages with character offsets for the matched terms,
so the caller can render the highlight without re-finding the query itself,
which would miss the stem that actually caused the hit.
