# Export skill tree

`GET /skills/{slug}/export`

Export a skill as an installable filesystem tree for sandbox runtimes. Authenticated org-scoped custom skills are resolved before curated skills. Slugs of merged skills are permanent aliases: they export the surviving skill (slug, root and files describe the target) with `redirected_from` set to the requested slug.

  - `redirected_from` string: Present only when the requested slug is a permanent alias of a merged skill. Holds the requested slug; slug, root and files describe the target skill.

    - `encoding` 'utf8' | 'base64': Encoding of content. Binary files use canonical base64.
    - `sha256` string
    - `size_bytes` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing slug or unsupported target
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `404`: Skill not found
