# Replace a persistent Linc conversation scope

`PUT /linc/v1/sessions/{id}/scope`

## Request

Stops the conversation worker, applies a newly authorized object scope, revokes its prior managed credential, and resumes the same native conversation in its existing workspace.

## Response `200`

Conversation scope replaced and runtime resumed

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid scope
- `401`: Invalid API key
- `403`: No agent access or Linc runtime disabled
- `404`: Session, vault, or object not found
- `409`: Session is not a resumable persistent workspace conversation
- `503`: The conversation was stopped safely but could not be resumed
