# Upload a runtime image for model input

`POST /linc/v1/images`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.case.dev`
- URL: `https://api.case.dev/linc/v1/images`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Inference transport for Linc. Stores a private image without creating a Vault object and returns a renewable presigned download URL. Requires API-key authentication with inference read access.

## Request body

- object
  - `sessionId` string, required: Native Linc session ID
  - `sha256` string, required: SHA-256 of the decoded image bytes
  - `mimeType` 'image/png' | 'image/jpeg' | 'image/gif' | 'image/webp', required
  - `data` string, byte, required: Canonical base64 image, at most 1.5 MiB decoded

## Response `200`

Image stored; signed URL lifetime accounts for credential expiry

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid image type, encoding, session ID or checksum
- `401`: API key authentication required
- `403`: Inference read access required
- `413`: Image too large
- `503`: Image signing credentials need renewal
