# The canonical attribute dictionary (219 attributes in 19 sections, SPEC_VERSION 2)

`GET /v2/specs/catalog`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cardog.app`
- URL: `https://api.cardog.app/v2/specs/catalog`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

## Response `200`

Sections, attribute ids, names, types, units — every attribute names its section

- SpecCatalog
  - `specVersion` integer, required: SPEC_VERSION of the canonical catalog (2)
  - `sections` object, required: Section id → definition. Sheets group their values by these ids
  - `attributes` object, required: Keyed by SpecAttributeId — the SAME ids `spec` filters and sheets use
  - `links` object: Related resources, keyed by relation name, each a server-relative path. Example: {"recalls": "/v2/recalls/entity/model-year:toyota/rav4/2021"}

## Other responses

- `401`: No valid credential (API key, session, or internal token)
- `429`: Per-minute rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal error
