# Recall dataset counts (campaigns, affected model-year links, freshness)

`GET /v2/recalls/stats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cardog.app`
- URL: `https://api.cardog.app/v2/recalls/stats`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

## Response `200`

Counts plus the last-updated date, citable

- RecallsStats
  - `campaigns` integer, required
  - `links` integer, required: Number of (campaign, model year) pairs across all campaigns
  - `latest` string, nullable, required: Most recent recall date on record (ISO date)

## Other responses

- `401`: No valid credential (API key, session, or internal token)
- `429`: Per-minute rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal error
