# Get unread counts grouped by company

`GET /v1/notifications/unread_counts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cardda.com`
- URL: `https://api.cardda.com/v1/notifications/unread_counts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns unread notification counts for the authenticated user grouped by
company id. **No `company-id` header is required** — this endpoint is
deliberately cross-company so the UI can show a per-company badge in one call.

## Response `200`

Unread counts keyed by company id.

  - `counts` object: Map of company UUID to unread notification count.
