# Link a bank transaction to a payable

`POST /v1/erp/payouts/payable_transactions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cardda.com`
- URL: `https://api.cardda.com/v1/erp/payouts/payable_transactions`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a payable transaction that links an existing bank transaction to a payable for
the given amount. This records that a specific bank transfer pays (part of) a payable;
it does not itself move money.

## Parameters

- `#/paths/~1v1~1erp~1payouts~1rules/get/parameters/0` (unresolved $ref)

## Request body

- object
  - `payable_id` string, uuid, required: The payable being paid.
  - `bank_transaction_id` string, uuid, required: The bank transaction that pays the payable.
  - `amount` integer, required: The amount of the bank transaction applied to this payable.

## Response `201`

The created payable transaction.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Payable not found
- `412`: Precondition Failed — a required parameter (`payable_id`, `bank_transaction_id`, or `amount`) is missing. Body: `{"message": "param is missing or the value is empty or invalid: <param>"}`.
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
