# Translate messages

`POST /v6/messages/translate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app`
- URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app/v6/messages/translate`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `pxtoken`
  - OAuth 2 (implicit, authorization URL `https://api.carbonvoice.app/oauth/authorize`)

Queues a translation of each message (or, for a share-link id, the message it shares) into `language`. Ids that do not exist are skipped. An id you cannot read fails the whole request with 403; translations already queued for the ids before it still run. Successor to `POST /v3/messages/translate` and `POST /v4/messages/translate`; takes the v4 body.

## Request body

- TranslateMessagesV6Payload
  - `ids` string[], required: Message ids or message share-link ids. A share-link id translates the message it shares. At most 100.
  - `language` string, required: Target language id, e.g. `spanish`.

## Response `202`

## Other responses

- `400`: The body is invalid or the language is not supported
- `403`: One of the ids is a message you cannot read
