# Index message transcripts in the vector store (admin only)

`POST /v6/messages/store-vector`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app`
- URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app/v6/messages/store-vector`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `pxtoken`
  - OAuth 2 (implicit, authorization URL `https://api.carbonvoice.app/oauth/authorize`)

Indexes the active, not yet indexed messages created since `start_date`, optionally narrowed to a workspace, conversation or single message. Successor to `POST /v3/messages/store-vector`, with `channel_id` renamed `conversation_id`.

## Query parameters

- `start_date` string, date-time, required
- `workspace_id` string
- `conversation_id` string
- `message_id` string

## Response `202`
