# Delete messages by ID

`DELETE /v6/messages/by-id`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app`
- URL: `https://api.carbonvoice.app/v6/messages/by-id`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `pxtoken`
  - OAuth 2 (implicit, authorization URL `https://api.carbonvoice.app/oauth/authorize`)

Deletes each listed message you created. The outcome is reported per id: `success` lists the deleted ids (already-deleted and still-recording messages count as success) and `failed` the others with the reason. Successor to `DELETE /v3/messages/by-id`.
