# Generate an app access token

`POST /app/accessTokens`

This endpoint generates an app access token. This access token can be used to access app specific resources and general "public" resources, like the /projects endpoint.

  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: The date and time the access token was created
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: The date and time the access token was last updated
  - `token` string, required: The access token string
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required: The date and time the access token expires
  - `isActive` boolean, required: Whether the access token is currently active
  - `permissions` object, required: The permissions of the access token
  - `appId` string, required: The ID of the app associated with the access token
