# Price an order's matched offsets

`POST /v1/orders/quote`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://carbonguru.io`
- URL: `https://carbonguru.io/v1/orders/quote`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Side-effect free. The same product quote every channel gets, for the kilograms asked for (served from the platform's quote cache, up to 300 s, as the web cart's is): amount_usd is the product price with CarbonGuru's percentage fees in it; processing fees are applied when the order is charged. A quote never rounds. Lines that match no active product come back in skipped_refs. No fee or pricing breakdown appears anywhere merchant-facing. The WordPress quote route authenticates an sk_merchant_ key only, so a caller presenting this cut's OAuth bearer receives the platform's 401.

## Request body

- object
  - `line_items` object[]
    - `identifier` string, required
    - `quantity` integer
  - `generic` object: A spend-based line, quoted the way the receiver charges it.

## Response `200`

The platform's payload, passed through unchanged.
