# Initiate Wholesale Signup

`POST /api/v1/auth/signup/wholesale/initiate`

Redeem a signup link and start a wholesale signup session. Validates the
link (active, unexpired, capacity) and the email domain, then stages the
signer and sends the email verification code.

## Request body

- WholesaleSignupInitiateRequest: Start a wholesale (distributor) signup by redeeming a signup link. No plan/subscription-period selection and no payment: the tier and terms come from the link's contract. ``accept_terms`` records the signer's acceptance of the distributor's click-through TOU.
  - `token` string, required: Distributor signup link token

  - `password` string, required
  - `first_name` string, required: User's first/given name
  - `last_name` string, required: User's last/family name
  - `company_name` string, nullable: Company name used as the wholesale client name
  - `accept_terms` boolean, required: Must be true - the signer accepted the distributor's TOU
  - `tou_id` string, nullable: UUID of the distributor TOU version displayed to and accepted by the signer (from the landing GET)
  - `marketing_opt_in` boolean
