# TikTok User Followings API

`GET /v1/tiktok/user-followings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.captapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.captapi.com/v1/tiktok/user-followings`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

List who a TikTok user follows — id, secUid, createTime, region, language, cursor pagination.

Pass a TikTok profile URL or @handle and get followings as clean JSON: id + secUid, username, displayName, bio, url, followers, following, verified, profileImage, plus createTime/createTimeUnix — and region / language only when TikTok exposes them on the row (keys are omitted, not nulled, when it does not). total is the profile's exact followingCount from statsV2 with totalIsApproximate beside it; cursor pagination via nextCursor + hasMore. Flat 1 credit per call on every path.

Success. The data object for this endpoint.

- object
  - `success` unknown, required
  - `data` object, required
    - `url` string: Canonical URL of the item.
    - `total` integer: The profile's exact followingCount from statsV2 (universe size). totalIsApproximate is true only when TikTok exposed nothing but a display-rounded value.
    - `totalIsApproximate` boolean: True when total is a display-rounded figure rather than an exact statsV2 counter.
    - `totalReturned` integer: Number of items returned in this response.
    - `hasMore` boolean: Whether more results are available beyond this page. When true, pass nextCursor to fetch the next page.
    - `nextCursor` string: Cursor to pass for the next page of results. May be null when the platform does not expose deep pagination (e.g. some Facebook Ad Library searches).
    - `followings` object[]
      - `username` string: Account username / handle.
      - `displayName` string: Display name of the account. Canonical across profile endpoints (prefer over name).
      - `bio` string: Profile bio. Canonical across profile endpoints (prefer over description on YouTube).
      - `url` string: Canonical URL of the item.
      - `followers` integer: Follower count.
      - `following` integer: Number of accounts followed.
      - `verified` boolean: Whether the account is verified on this platform.
      - `profileImage` string: Profile image URL. Deprecated alias of avatar on Instagram/Twitter/Threads/TikTok profile endpoints (one release).
      - `id` string: Id of this followings item.
      - `secUid` string: TikTok secure user ID — required for many platform-internal list endpoints.
      - `createTime` string: When the account was created (ISO 8601).
      - `createTimeUnix` integer: Create time unix. Example: 1681336933.
