# Reddit Post Transcript API

`GET /v1/reddit/post-transcript`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.captapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.captapi.com/v1/reddit/post-transcript`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Written post text — title, body and top comments.

Returns the post's written content — title, body and top comments — as text. Reddit does not expose speech transcripts for v.redd.it video, so this is not a speech transcript. timingSource is always "none"; transcriptSegments use character offsets (charStart/charEnd), not invented timestamps. estimatedReadSeconds is a top-level 200 wpm estimate. commentsIncluded and wordCount describe the written bundle. Flat 2 credits.
