# Reddit Post Comments API

`GET /v1/reddit/post-comments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.captapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.captapi.com/v1/reddit/post-comments`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Flat Reddit comment threads with depth/parentId and the parent post in one call.

Fetch the comments Reddit shows on a post's public page as a flat list with depth and parentId (easy to store, rebuild the tree when you need it): about 20 top-level threads with the replies loaded under them, in Reddit's default order. publishedAt is ISO 8601 UTC; each comment includes score, isSubmitter and its permalink. Reddit loads further comments only for signed-in browsers, so nextCursor is null and hasMore false even when post.comments is higher than totalReturned. authorFullname, edited, stickied, distinguished and controversiality are null — the public page does not carry them. The response includes the parent post. Flat 2 credits per call.
