# Pinterest User Boards API

`GET /v1/pinterest/user-boards`

Boards on a Pinterest profile — pinCount, coverImage (474x), privacy, sections.

Pass a Pinterest profile URL or username and get that profile's public boards as clean JSON. Every board row uses the same shape: id, name, url, description, privacy, pinCount, followers, sectionCount, coverImage (prefers Pinterest's 474x HD cover), createdAt (ISO-8601 UTC), and owner{username,displayName}. followers is the board-scoped follower count when available — Pinterest's logged-out board.follower_count is account-scale (identical on every board) and is never echoed here (null until a board-scoped source is wired). Cursor pagination via nextCursor + hasMore (ceiling 200). Envelope: requested / listingHits / truncatedReason=profile-window. ~0.5 credits/board (min 2).

        - `username` string: Account username / handle.

    - `requested` integer: limit you asked for.
    - `listingHits` integer: Boards in this profile window (may be larger than the page).
    - `hasMore` boolean: true when nextCursor is set. Pass that value as cursor for the next page.
    - `nextCursor` unknown
    - `truncatedReason` string: profile-window when the /_boards/ dump is exhausted.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: wrong platform URL, unknown endpoint, or an invalid parameter value. Not billed.
- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked API key. Not billed.
- `402`: Not enough credits for this request. Not billed.
- `404`: The resource does not exist or is not public. Not billed.
- `422`: A required parameter is missing or has the wrong type. Not billed.
- `429`: Rate limit reached. Wait for Retry-After seconds. Not billed.
- `502`: The platform could not be reached or returned nothing usable. Retryable, not billed. 503 and 504 use the same envelope.
