# Pinterest Search API

`GET /v1/pinterest/search`

## Request

Keyword pin search — offset cursor, SERP window 40.

Search public Pinterest pins by keyword (logged-out Pinterest search is empty, so results come from a public search-results window of pin pages, each hydrated). Cursor pagination via nextCursor + hasMore; a null nextCursor means the end of the SERP window (max 40). Envelope: requested / listingHits / truncatedReason=serp-window. timings{serpMs,hydrateMs,enrichMs,totalMs} show which stage burned the seconds — search is the slow endpoint in this block. ~0.5 credits/result.

    - `requested` integer: limit you asked for.
    - `listingHits` integer: Hydrated pins in this SERP window (may be limit+1 when probing hasMore).
    - `hasMore` boolean: true when nextCursor is set. Pass that value as cursor for the next page.
    - `nextCursor` unknown
    - `truncatedReason` string: serp-window when the SERP window is exhausted or you are at the 40 cap.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: wrong platform URL, unknown endpoint, or an invalid parameter value. Not billed.
- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked API key. Not billed.
- `402`: Not enough credits for this request. Not billed.
- `404`: The resource does not exist or is not public. Not billed.
- `422`: A required parameter is missing or has the wrong type. Not billed.
- `429`: Rate limit reached. Wait for Retry-After seconds. Not billed.
- `502`: The platform could not be reached or returned nothing usable. Retryable, not billed. 503 and 504 use the same envelope.
