# Update a monitor

`PATCH /v1/monitors/{monitor_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.captapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.captapi.com/v1/monitors/{monitor_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Change name, params, interval_minutes, webhook_url or active. Changing params resets the seen-items baseline so the next run does not flood your webhook. Free.
