# Facebook Comments API

`GET /v1/facebook/comments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.captapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.captapi.com/v1/facebook/comments`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Facebook post comments with reactionCount, reactions.like when mixed, author.id (pfbid), and replyCount.

Pass a post/Reel URL or feedbackId (from /v1/facebook/details) and get top-level comments as clean JSON. reactionCount is the mix total. reactions{} is included only when Facebook exposes a real multi-type mix — likes are reactions.like, not a likeCount twin (that field used to hold the total and is gone). Unused types are omitted, not zeroed. author is an object with stable id (pfbid or numeric), name, shortName, gender, url, and avatarUrl when exposed. replyCount and hasMore are included for threading/loops. A Reel URL returns the comment preview Facebook shows logged-out for that video (usually a few top comments). When Facebook returns no comments this time the call is a retryable 503 UPSTREAM_UNAVAILABLE at 0 credits; input that is not a Facebook URL is 400. Rows with signed CDN media (avatars) carry mediaUrlsExpireAt. Flat 2 credits. Prefer feedbackId when you already fetched details.
