# Complete external data import job

`PUT /external-data-import/{id}/complete`

Complete the external data import job and persist the data to the external data table.
This should be called after a successful preview (status 4).

-  PERMISSIONS: `api_external_data_table:update`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- ExternaldatatableImportCompleteRequest — unresolved $ref

## Response `204`

No Content - Import completed successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `404` — Not Found - Job not found or preview not completed
