# Regenerate Key

`POST /v1/auth/regenerate-key`

Replace the current user's API key. One transaction holds the user row (FOR UPDATE), so concurrent
rotations run one after another and exactly one dashboard key stays active; the revoked keys' cached auth
records are then replaced with tombstones, so they stop working at once. Needs a session issued after the
email was verified.
