# Return the site group for the site/histology/behavior combination based on a specified algorithm

`GET /rest/recode/sitegroup/{algorithm}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.seer.cancer.gov`
- URL: `https://api.seer.cancer.gov/rest/recode/sitegroup/{algorithm}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-SEERAPI-Key`

Supported algorithms are SEER Site Recode ('seer'), International Classification of Childhood Cancer ('iccc') and Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) Site Recode ('aya').

If no algorithm is supplied it will default to 'seer'.
