# Follow a signup intent (header x-intent-token)

`GET /api/v1/signup/status`

Pass the intentToken in the x-intent-token header (never in the URL). Statuses: pending (waiting for the human), expired, trial_active (claimed: the FIRST poll after this also returns a one-time read-only API key for the new team; store it), active (paid plan live). Poll slowly: the human step takes minutes.
