# Place a call (201 calling, 402 needs_setup with setup_url, 400 invalid, 403 blocked)

`POST /v1/calls`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://callforme.tel`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

## Request body

- object
  - `phone` string, required: Business phone, US, any format
  - `goal` string, required: What the call should get done and what counts as done
  - `business_name` string
  - `details` string: Facts the assistant may share when asked. Never card numbers, SSNs or passwords.
  - `questions` string[]: Each comes back in answers, in this order
  - `on_behalf_of` string
  - `callback_number` string
  - `constraints` string
  - `if_asked` string: Pre-approved answers, so the business doesn't wait on you
  - `voicemail_message` string
  - `transfer_to` string
  - `language` string
  - `setup_code` string: From a 402 needs_setup response, after the user completed the link
