# Delete an agent

`DELETE /v1/agents/{agent_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.call2me.app`
- URL: `https://api.call2me.app/v1/agents/{agent_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently delete an agent. This is **irreversible**. Active calls/campaigns/schedules referencing this agent will fail until you point them at a different agent. Phone numbers previously assigned to this agent become unassigned (not deleted).

## Path parameters

- `agent_id` string, required

## Response `204`

No content.

## Other responses

- `404`: Agent not found.
- `422`: Validation Error
