# Revoke a device session

`DELETE /devices/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.caliuapp.com`
- URL: `https://api.caliuapp.com/devices/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `caliu_session`

Revoke (sign out) a device by deleting its session. Self-revoke (deleting your own current session) requires `?force=1` to prevent accidental self-logout.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Resource ID

## Query parameters

- `force` string: Set to "1" to confirm revoking the caller's own session

## Response `200`

Device revoked

- object
  - `ok` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Self-revoke without ?force=1, or attempt to revoke a non-session device from API-key auth
- `404`: Not found
