# What this invite is, before signing in

`GET /api/v1/me/invites/{token}`

Deliberately unauthenticated: the landing page has to be able to say who invited you and to which address *before* it can ask you to sign in, or a wrong-account sign-in is indistinguishable from a dead link. The token is the credential and the address comes back masked.

Successful Response

- InvitePreviewResponse: What the invite landing page may say before anyone has signed in. Unauthenticated — the token is the credential. The address is masked: a forwarded link should let the holder check which mailbox this was for without handing a stranger a working address.
