# Connect a WordPress site

`POST /api/v1/channels/connect/wordpress`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cadencz.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.cadencz.com/api/v1/channels/connect/wordpress`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Validates a site URL plus an application password and stores the credential encrypted. Application passwords are issued by WordPress core under Users → Profile and are revocable on their own, so there is no OAuth app to register and no review to wait on.

## Request body

- WordPressConnectRequest: Connect a self-hosted or WordPress.com site with an application password.
  - `site_url` string, required: Your site address.
  - `username` string, required: Your WordPress username.
  - `app_password` string, required: Application password from Users -> Profile.
  - `display_name` string, nullable: Optional label for the channel.
