# Start Reddit OAuth

`POST /api/v1/channels/connect/reddit/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cadencz.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.cadencz.com/api/v1/channels/connect/reddit/start`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a signed Reddit OAuth state and returns the Reddit authorization URL. Users approve access on Reddit; they do not enter Reddit credentials in Cadencz.

Successful Response

- RedditOAuthStartResponse
  - `authorization_url` string, required: Reddit OAuth approval URL.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid Supabase bearer token.
- `502`: The upstream provider rejected the request.
