# Check a configuration without saving it

`POST /api/v1/admin/config/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cadencz.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.cadencz.com/api/v1/admin/config/preview`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the exact change set a save would apply, plus any validation errors and non-blocking warnings. This is what the confirmation dialog shows, so the admin approves the real diff rather than a guess at it.

  - `expected_version` integer, nullable
  - `section` string, nullable
  - `note` string, nullable
  - `confirm` boolean
