# Rendered preview of a conversation

`GET /v1/conversations/{id}/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cadencercs.com`
- URL: `https://api.cadencercs.com/v1/conversations/{id}/preview`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

HTML by default, using the brand's real identity. `?format=json` returns the turns and whether the transcript demonstrates opt-out — worth checking before attaching it to a submission that can't be edited.

- `format` 'json'

## Response `200`

JSON when `format=json`; otherwise an HTML page.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, unknown or revoked API key.
- `403`: Key suspended, or scoped to a different brand than the one addressed.
- `404`: No conversation with that id on this key or account.
- `409`: No messages yet.
- `500`: Unexpected server error. The body is always JSON.
