# The number this brand sends SMS from

`GET /v1/brands/{id}/sms-number`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cadencercs.com`
- URL: `https://api.cadencercs.com/v1/brands/{id}/sms-number`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

An SMS carries no agent, so the number a reply comes **to** is the only thing that says which brand the person answered. A brand with its own number gets its replies routed to it; a brand on the shared number can only be attributed by the sender, which breaks the moment two of your brands text the same person.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

The brand's sending number, or null when it uses the shared one.

- object
  - `brandId` string, required
  - `e164` string, nullable
  - `shared` boolean, required: True when the brand sends from the shared number.
  - `note` string

## Other responses

- `401`: Not signed in, and no account-linked API key was sent.
- `404`: No such brand on this account.
- `500`: Unexpected server error. The body is always JSON.
