# Get your profile

`GET /profile`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cactal.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cactal.ai/v1/profile`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns who this credential acts for (a stable `id`, plus `name` and `email` for a person) and the organizations it can work in. An organization lists `websites` only when access is limited to those websites. Use an organization `id` to list or create websites.

The caller and the organizations it can work in.

  - `id` string, required: Stable id of the person or credential calling Cactal.

    - `websites` object[]: The only websites this caller can use here; absent when it can use every website in the organization.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired, or revoked API key.
- `403`: The authenticated principal lacks the required capability.
- `404`: The resource does not exist or is outside the principal’s access scope.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` header.
