# Create a payment type

`POST /paymenttypes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.c1st.com/api`

## Request body

- PaymentType
  - `id` integer: A unique payment type id
  - `title` string: The name of a payment type
  - `accountno` string, nullable: The account number associated with the payment type
  - `currency` string, nullable: The currency associated with the payment type
  - `exchangerate` number, nullable: The exchange rate of the given currency (if any) to the store's main currency.
  - `cash` integer: Whether or not the payment type is physical cash
  - `disabled` integer, nullable: Included when deleted payment types are allowed
