# Modify job

`PUT /api/workflow/jobs/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://{your-bynder-domain}`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://{your-auth-url}`
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://{your-bynder-domain}/v6/authentication/oauth2/token` scopes: `JOBEDIT`

Requires the JOBEDIT security role. Note: `responsibleID` and `responsibleGroupID` cannot be set on `previousStage`, `activeStage`, or `nextStage` through this endpoint. To update a stage's responsible user or group, use `PUT /api/workflow/stages/{id}`.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: Name of the job
  - `description` string: Description of the job
  - `deadline` string: Date of when the job ends
  - `campaignID` string: Id of the campaign the job is part of
  - `accountableID` string: Id of the user accountable for the job (displayed as Reporter in the UI). This does not update a stage's responsible user or group; use PUT /api/workflow/stages/{id} for that.
  - `jobMetaproperties` object: ID and metaproperty values
  - `activeStage` object: The new active stage of the job
    - `id` string: ID of the new active stage
    - `deadline` string: Date of when the active stage ends
    - `status` 'Idle' | 'Active' | 'Cancelled' | 'Approved' | 'NeedsChanges': Status of the new active stage
  - `nextStage` object: The new next stage of the job
    - `id` string: ID of the new next stage
    - `deadline` string: Date of when the next stage ends
    - `status` 'Idle' | 'Active' | 'Cancelled' | 'Approved' | 'NeedsChanges': Status of the new next stage
  - `previousStage` object: The new previous stage of the job
    - `id` string: ID of the new previous stage
    - `deadline` string: Date of when the previous stage ends
    - `status` 'Idle' | 'Active' | 'Cancelled' | 'Approved' | 'NeedsChanges': Status of the new previous stage
