# Finalize the upload

`POST /v7/file_cmds/upload/{file_id}/finalise_api`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://example.com`
- URL: `https://example.com/v7/file_cmds/upload/{file_id}/finalise_api`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://{your-auth-url}`
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://{your-bynder-domain}/v6/authentication/oauth2/token`

Finalize the upload after all chunks have been uploaded.

## Path parameters

- `file_id` string, required

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

- object
  - `fileName` string: Filename of the file.
  - `fileSize` integer: Size of the file in bytes.
  - `chunksCount` integer: Number of chunks the file was split into.

## Response `201`

Upload finalized successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
