# Send a Wipe Action

`POST /v1/default/device/wipe`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bymason.com`
- URL: `https://api.bymason.com/v1/default/device/wipe`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Sends a Wipe Action to a list of devices. A Wipe Action will perform a factory reset
on the device. A factory reset will delete app-specific data and settings on the device,
but will preserve the deployed project and configuration.

## Request body

- ActionRequest
  - `devices` string[]: List of device ids to send an Action to

## Response `204`

No content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `404`: Resource(s) not found
- `500`: Internal server error
