# Send a Shutdown Action

`POST /v1/default/device/shutdown`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bymason.com`
- URL: `https://api.bymason.com/v1/default/device/shutdown`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Sends a Shutdown Action to a list of devices. A Shutdown Action will power off the device.

## Request body

- ActionRequest
  - `devices` string[]: List of device ids to send an Action to

## Response `204`

No content

- `400`: Bad request
- `404`: Resource(s) not found
- `500`: Internal server error
