# Read a node's public link-sharing settings

## Response `200`

The node's public-share settings, or null when the node was never shared. The stored password is never returned — only a `hasPassword` flag. No URL is returned: the shared node keeps its own canonical address, and only the caller knows which origin its reader should use (see `nodeWebUrl` in busabase-sdk).
