# Get Exchange Trading Status

`GET /v1/status`

## Request

Returns the current trading status of the exchange. When the exchange is halted,
order creation and amendment are blocked on all markets, while cancellation and
liquidity actions remain permitted only if the halt allows them (see the `allow`
field). The per-market action flags on the `GET /v1/markets` response reflect the
same restrictions.

- TradingStatusResponse
  - `trading` object, required
    - `status` 'active' | 'halted', required: current exchange trading status
    - `allow` string[]: Actions still permitted while the exchange is halted. Present only when `status` is `halted`; an empty array means a full halt (no actions permitted). Absent when `status` is `active`.

## Other responses

- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
