# Move every record off a project

`POST /projects/{id}/reassign-records`

## Request

Sweeps all reassignable records from this project onto `targetProjectId` in one operation — the tool for a project deleted by mistake. `dropped` counts records the policy could not carry across (pay apps stay put: their certificates are a cumulative per-project chain). QuickBooks is never rewritten.
