# Delete a group

`DELETE /v1/groups/{groupId}`

Deletes an existing group specified by `groupId`. This will remove the group but will not delete any of its child tracked sources.

## Path parameters

- `groupId` string, required

## Response `200`

Group deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `404` — Not Found. The specified group does not exist.
